Brothers Terry and Peter Ward both joined their father's general haulage business back in the early 1970's. Not only were they Class 1 drivers but they also had to learn the mechanics and the administration side of the business at the same time. The experience they gained from the 'hands on' approach has enabled them to successfully bring the company through to the 21st century with confidence and ability to adapt to the ever changing industry.

Over the past 30 years or so, the business has been transformed into a thriving concern operating heavy goods vehicles ranging from 7.5 tonnes up to 44 tonnes. Although general haulage is still prevalent the company is willing to move into new areas. Warehousing and distribution are now a major part of operations. Terry and Peter still take an active role in the daily running of the business and, together with the support of the Transport Manager, Administration Staff, Drivers and Warehousemen, continue to provide a service to our customers which is second to none.
